My work on this group’s Overall Organizational Chart has helped me to learn that or see that just how important differentiated instruction, lesson planning, integrated instruction, and backwards mapping is in today’s classrooms. Finding ways to incorporate all students is an extremely important part of a teacher’s role while backward planning. By using the backward planning method, I will be able to individualize my students needs and help them become the best learners they can be.

I introduced Kidblog, a class blog, where students interact with one another, can post homework, ask for questions, and have in depth discussions on extension topics from class with one another, and have seen a huge difference in the classroom dynamic. Students are more patient with one another, are excited to post and discuss questions and their viewpoints on issues, pose questions and take initiative with their own learning.
